Blissfull vacation. An island on the Baltic sea. Two brothers with their partners. Conflicts and family expectations. Suddenly, brothers disappear. One after the other, day by day. The two women stay on their own, trapped on the island due to an ecological catastrophe. The island is at a standstill. Nature takes control over everything. Exterior landscapes mirror internal emotions of the women. Stuck in this bizarre, post-catastrophe lingering, they find solace in helping birds smeared with oil. This seeming time of captivity helps the women discover themselves and each other and understand freedom and tenderness. Then the island comes back to life. As if it all was but a strange dream.
