MOONSHINE

A little guy named Szczepan slowly sinks into the realms of madness because of the tragic love that he feels towards Helena, a cold-blooded temptress who rejects him without batting an eye. Instead, her eye is caught by something more shiny, basically she asks for the moon. Szczepan, desperate and hurt, embarks on a journey into the world on the edge of dream and reality. Once there, chased by evil chicks and bizarre inhabitants of this oneiric land, Szczepan finally meets his fate. He comes into possession of the crescent that falls from the night sky straight info his arms. As he knows this is exactly what Helena dreams of, Szczepan decides to present the moon to his beloved. This is when the saying ‘be careful what you wish for takes its toll. A dream-come-true turns into a pretty spooky nightmare to the melody of Tom Waits’s “Way Down in The Hole".
